A Team vs. Slatina B

Game Report:
Hard fought victory in Prace
In case no one's pushed the very obvious wordplay in your face yet: Práce means "work" — as in a workmanlike victory. You get it...
The A team took that analogy quite literally. Not even an early wake-up call or a long-distance shot that rattled the bar helped much, as it was Slatina B who opened the scoresheet with a 1–0 lead in the 36th minute after an admittedly nice combination.
Sometimes, though, there are perfect moments to strike back — and a goal just before halftime is definitely one of them. Joachim played a great through ball to Yahya, who finished it calmly. 1–1 at the break.
For a stretch in the second half, it turned into a scrappy fight for possession in midfield — scrappy by style, not by aggression (only two cards this time, one per team).
Then it was Alejandro who injected some life back into the team, driving toward goal and squaring it to Yahya, who took the perfect shot — the golden shot (72 min) — as it turned out to be the winner (another excellent wordplay, if you ask me). Final score: 2–1 for the A team.
