Match Report:

B Team Breaks the Drought with Dominant 3–0 Victory

First Half:

The first half saw a tightly contested battle, with both teams largely neutralizing each other. Ochoz focused their play on long balls to their number 10, occasionally managing to stretch the defense. They even managed to break through once, but their goal was ruled out for offside.

Cieran made a notable contribution in the 20th minute, committing a necessary tactical foul to break up a counter — his first mention on the stat sheet beyond the starting lineup. Tempers briefly flared when Ochoz's number 10 landed an elbow to the stomach that could have warranted a red card, but the referee let it go.

That same number 10 eventually came off in the 30th minute due to a muscle injury, forcing Ochoz into an early substitution — the first of only two they would use in the game.

The B team had their moments too but struggled to keep control in the final third. Their most dangerous opportunities came from distance: a rocket from Sean that may have touched both posts before skimming just wide, and a free kick from Marko that rattled the crossbar. Despite the chances, the score remained 0:0 at halftime.

Second Half:

After the break, a triple substitution brought fresh energy and opened up play down the wings. While the team still played a bit too direct, the changes created more consistent pressure in the final third.

The breakthrough came in the 69th minute: Seb whipped a ball into the box that was deflected into the net by an Ochoz defender for an own goal — a stroke of luck, but a deserved lead.

Only two minutes later, Marko again found the crossbar with a well-hit effort, and this time Alejandro was there to capitalize, heading in the rebound for 2:0.

Rather than dropping back, the team pushed on. Marko, captaining the team for the first time, added a third with a confident finish, sealing the result and capping off a strong personal performance.

The defense calmly managed the remainder of the match. Ochoz threatened once more, but the danger was cut short with a tactical foul by Rocco in the 81st minute — earning him a yellow card but protecting the clean sheet of goalie Ryan.

Final Score: 3:0
